Slag, also known as granulated blast furnace slag, is the glassy material generated in the process of  slag quenching in blast furnace iron-making melting, mainly composed of calcium oxide, silicon oxide and alumina, and it has a higher potential activity, in the effect of sharpening agent, it can generate a hydraulically settable cementitious materials compounding with water.
