The proportion hardness, composition and toughness of steel balls are the main technical indicators of the steel ball, in accordance with the standard requirements, the specific gravity of forged steel ball and rolling ball is 7.8, the proportion of steel ball and cast iron ball is 7.5. If there are too many sand holes, the proportion can be reduced to 7.1.
Although cast iron ball contains high C, the hardness is below standard, the phenomenon of trachoma hollow and small proportion is more serious. Ball quality and grinding effect are significantly reduced. Thus, choose forged steel or cast steel ball which has high hardness and good toughness is more appropriate.
